ROUTE 56
Transitional 5th-6th Grade Program
Route 56 is a group set up especially for 5th
and 6th graders. The goal of the class is to create an inviting
atmosphere to help with the transition from "Children's Ministries" to
"Youth". The class is made up of 5th graders who are still part of
Children's Ministries and 6th graders who are part of the
Youth
group.
Eric Moore and Nancy Vann teach the class.
which meets at 10:30 on Sunday mornings. The Route 56 class sits
together in worship during the 9:10 a.m. service. Activities are a big
part of building bonds among the young people so that when they promote to
Youth they can step in with confidence because they've already become
friends with some of the other young people.
5th graders have an option of continuing to
"rotate" with the Children's Department or attending Route 56.
